That's perzctly why we need the gubment to tell us things we should already know and to protect us from stuff we signed up for in the first place. I mean c'mon , dagnabit, git with the program... we r clearly all too stupid to thank fer oyrselves and we need the gubment to bail us out of the shitholes we dug with r own shovels so we can blame the shovel manu fracturer for that and sue them and make the gubment make them stop making us do what we do ourselves!
    Cain't u understand nuthin'?

I think some people may actually read stuff but don't realize the consequences, or what it means and it doesn't sink in until they get into a hole. "So this is what that meant(?)." tsk

Well then those people are idiots. I guess we need legislation to protect the idiots.

It's actually a very interesting conversation. I challenge anyone on this board who has a checking account to show how they were not informed about the fees.
If you knew about the fees and agreed, then you can't say the bank was screwing you without letting you know they would do so if you overdrafted.
If you knew you would get screwed by overdrafting, but chose to do so knowing you would get screwed, then how can you in any way shape or form blame the bank?

If you can admit the truth about these statements, and still believe we need legislation to protect people you must then believe that YOU are too stupid to make decisions for yourself and need to be protected from your own stupidity.
