Oh my, people will now have to actually know how much money they have in their account before swiping their debit card. Can't wait for them to start complaining about the "embarrassment" they get when told to take a hike by a merchant. lol

BofA to scrap overdraft fees for card users

It's sad people need the govt to take care of them this way.

No shit VA,we all know from the history of the past 10 years that we can trust big business to do what is best for the American people when the Government leaves them alone to do so.

No. If you can read they can't take advantage of you. I've never had a problem with overdrafts. Then again, I always know how much money I actually have in the account BEFORE I buy something. It's really not that hard of a concept to understand. Other things, yes, I can see your point, but overdrafts? No way. Anybody can prevent overdraft fees. There is absolutely no way govt should be involved with protecting people from something as simple as this.

I had a better idea. I moved all my financial business to a credit union. They are much better and more honest to do business with.

Of course they are, until you overdraw your account.

The Government left them alone for what 7 years and then the tax payers had to bail them out. Good outcome.:woot:
