    So, he just assumed he wouldn't make it to the finals and quit at the end of the season undefeated or leading the league and shit? That makes a lot of sense. :rolleyes:

    I think I about said it all with my post during the game. The Heels performance was puke saturday night, just like it was since the first of January. That 10 week stretch was as bad as any in Carolina history including 8-20. Considering who was the coach and how highly regarded many of the players on this team were (WERE) I would have to say this year was much worse.

    Season can't end soon enough. Roy should ho back and read his book. Or one of Dean's books, or any coaching book for that matter because he fell asleep at the wheel this year and while you can't coach effort or heart I think a lot of this team's failings rest directly on his shoulders.

    Let me see if I can make you people understand...He didnt have a crystal ball and he didnt know if he'd win it all or not. BUT IF HE DID, he would have just as well not made the playoffs at all as he would have made them, wen tdeep in them, and then not won it all. Make sense?
