    How about the Charlotte Rattlesnakes? They could sell a bunch of merchandise that were ripoffs of Stone Cold Steve Austin.

    back in the day, i thought the charlotte churches would be funny, but charlotte church hasn't been heard from recently so the pun is no good.

    of course, the charlotte rae's could work. a bit more timeless. plus there's a bit of a rae carruth allusion as well.

    you could go with some more generic like the charlotte spiders, then you could call the arena charlotte's web.

    How about the Charlotte Race Cars? They could have a NASCAR car with a basketball on the side for a logo. It might lure the redneck crowd. Maybe all the players could wear racing suits and helmets when they play. That might really throw off the opponents. An oval shaped court with premium seats in the infield would really rock.

    Nice game against the Heat. Made "D-Wade" cry like a little bitch afterwards. They've moved into 7th place in the playoff standings ahead of the Heat and Bulls.
