I am eating very little...basically cutting my caloric intake in half. I make myself walk away from every meal still feeling a little hungry. Low fat, low carb meals with lots of salads. I am drinking protein shakes to help my strength gains though.

Just eating for nourishment, really. I like feeling hungry when I lose weight. Some people feel like they will over eat if the get too hungry but I feel better when I'm hungry. It makes me seem like I am always losing weight and keeps me motivated.

Sounds like you finally got on a good routine. Seeing results really helps you motivate to work out, doesn't it?

The key now is to make it part of your life so you don't quit and gain it all back.

    Serious question:
    Do you eat exceptionally slowly?

I can tolerate being hungry up to a point but sometimes it goes beyond just wanting to eat. Sometimes though I have the "panic" feeling hit me where I feel like I have to eat something. I am not sure what triggers it but it is very hard to ignore.

I am "pre" diabetic and I wonder if it has something to do with that.

What do you mean by core Strenght? I walk first for 45 minutes, then 30 minutes of weights.
