True. Whoever gets hot at the right time. If they went to a college football format, I don't even think I'd watch College Basketball. March Madness is the greatest thing in sports, IMO.

 

I said that wasn't the only stats to consider, just the main ones that most sites list, so given that Duke is so much better of a defensive team, you would think Duke would have an advantage in SOME of these key stats.

 

Stats are really misleading, and not just in this case. But Duke typically plays at a much slower pace than Carolina. That gives the opponents less possessions which leads to less shots and of course less rebounds for Duke. I'm not suprised at the block stat. I am suprised about the steals.

 

I guess stats can be misleading depending on which team you pull for?

 

haha no. Like I said, not just in this case, but they can be misleading in any situation. Duke doesn't necessarily have to get steals, but forcing bad passes results in the same. And Duke doesn't have the athletes to go for blocks, that's why they take charges.

So, I was just making fun of the shoes earlier, and then I see the whole unis were silver.
Anyway, apparently 3 other schools are doing this as well, in honor of Jordan /Nike brand anniversary something or other. Does anyone else think this is bullshit / cheesy ?
These schools are honoring their uniform designers rather than their school colors.

Apparently the heels suck so bad they aren't allowed to wear Carolina Blue anymore.
