Didn't get to listen to that, but I don't see anything wrong with calling things the way that they are. I don't really blame the issues with UNC on the players to be honest. There have been several factors this year with the amount of sucking and aside from the injury bug, the rest has been due to coaching decisions.

Karl you have to change that. You said in the other thread just a month ago that UNC wouldn't finish any worse than 3rd or 4th and possibly 2nd. Nothing close to 5th or 6th. I also must say you mentioned getting Zeller back, but after the awful play he gave against BC.. do the Heels still want him back? The only hope UNC has for Zeller is that he might take off and become good in the 2nd half of his senior year in 2 yrs just like Zoubek has done for Duke.

I said that the talent made Roy all of last year. Now people are starting to take me more seriously. Every coach needs talent to be great to an extent, but just as players have to adapt each game to how the refs are calling, the coaches have to adjust all the time to the talent they have on their team. K has demonstrated this the past few years with the talent or lack of the past few years on the Devils squad.

To answer the question that nobody wanted to say how many Mcdonald All Americans that UNC has this year. They have 7. I'm tired of hearing about the talent lost. That's been over-used this year. Pitt lost 3 great players off of their team as well and they are still beating teams that possibly most people would say are more talented than them. Bill Self still had a pretty good year last year after losing Chalmers and alot of talent off of the national championship year. The announcers always talk about loss of talent for UNC, but they don't praise Pitt and teams like that who have sucked it up and made it even without the so or so called "better talent."

Ah, hell. January 1st, I probadly did feel like they had a chance to finish in the top 4. January 20th, I may have felt they'd be doing good to finish in the top 7. Now, I'm just hoping they can finish ahead of N.C. State. With every game, I've lowered my expectations. Zeller is playing like everybody else this year: awful. Like some have said, UNC's McDonald All-American talent is way over-rated this year, & Roy has done a lousy job coaching as well.

and FWIW - making no excuses for the suck that is UNC Basketball circa 2010, Zeller had just come off a 10 plus game layoff from a broken foot. I doubt they would have rushed him back this soon if it wasn't for the Davis and Wear injuries. He looked way rusty. They'll be better with him back in there. Better but still bogged down by the suck.

It's been one hell of a rollercoaster ride since Dean Smith retired!
