The Tar Heels Suck

Predictable responce.

Even as a Duke fan, I'll admit K saw that season as a chance to get healthy and get ready for the next. With that being said Duke lost 14 conference games by an average of 6 points, including 3 buzzer beater type games. Joe Smith and Maryland did it to them twice that year.

The Heels have already lost 9 conference games this year by an average of 12 points.

Wasn't Duke like 9-2 when K took the leave?? Guess he saw hard times ahead and him being the known puss that he is decided to let his back be hurt. Never got that one.

 

That's pretty much most teams in the ACC at the start of the season until the conference games start and they beat eachother. Hell, even UNC started off good this year, but you could still see the problems, just nobody expected them to be THIS bad.

 

It was kind of interesting listening to Packer's show this afternoon while Kevin Salvadori blasted this year's Tarheels team......I guess when it gets this bad the Tarheels alumni are not above eating their own...

 

I guess the real question is can the Tar Holes make the NIT??????????

I'm a long-time Carolina fan and like alot of people, I was expecting this team to be better than this. Somewhere around 4-5-6 in the conference. I never thought they would actually be #1. They lost too many good players from last year's team. But this team is awful. They're getting worse, not better, as the season progresses. They look poorly coached. Roy's got them doing things they can't do. The running style doesn't fit this team. Too many turnovers! They may surprise all of us from here on out, but I'm not expecting it. Right now, the NIT looks like a longshot. I don't imagine the NIT will be taking any teams with a losing record.
