Didn't take long for some to turn on the team....

This game was at the end of a long stretch of close games. Our team was gassed, in a hostile enviroment and it was a tightly called game against a team with a deeper bench. Once Jones and Braswell were out with fouls, Dayton had a field day in the low post. Spears wasn't going to be able to stop them.

We also caught dayton playing their best ball while we had one of our worst nights in a long time. Yeah, it was a thrashing, but this team is infinitely better than the one we fielded last year. They never quit, we just couldn't get the ball in the hoop.

Hopefully we get home, refresh for a week and make a strong home court stand. We have a few tough games left (XU, UR, @GW and @URI), but I think we should handle SJU and Duquesne at home.

Had it been a home game, there may have been a few. The last time I remember Niners fans booing their own team was the home game vs Miss State a few years back when we only had nine pts at the half.

It never does. Our fanbase for the most part is bipolar. After a win, we are worldbeaters, after a loss, the fire Lutz crowd lights their torches.

Well said. Hopefully they put the coming week to good use and start another win streak.

Unfortunately, getting the ball in the hoop is the whole point of the game.

This was so predictable because UNCC has been making a living by barely beating really bad teams all year and getting drilled by most decent teams they face....like losing by 50 to an average Duke team.

They beat Temple at home but Temple is not a top 20 team and maybe not even a top 30 team. They won at L'ville when L'ville had 4 players and 3 starters out. Western Carolina went in a coule days later and won at Freedom Hall for christs sake.

This is not a good UNCC team. They are just piling up wins in a bad conference that is carrying 10 pathetic D1 programs.

Dayton is by no means a great team and that lets you know what kind of team UNCC is.

    Duquesne 83, UNCC 77.

That, Chisox, is a pathetic loss. I know you agree. I heard the bubble burst from my house.

It's hard to beat a team like Duquesne shooting 30% and turning the ball over like UNCC did.
