The Tar Heels Suck

I mean they really suck. I know they are missing some players due to injury, but dayuuummm......Maybe ol' Roy can call some time-outs to get things turned around tonight against G'Tech.....

 

That ain't no lie.

SUCK.

Ol Roy couldn't fix them with twenty timeouts.

The ineptitude of this year's Tar Heel team is mind boggling. You know how teams get hot, get on a roll where every thing works, every basket goes in, every lose ball goes their way, every fancy play is on the money? Well the Heels do that but with mistakes instead.

EVERY pass gets tipped, every pass gets bobbled, every shot bricks, they mis-time jumps on every rebound, every player breaks the wrong way, every player stands around watching a team mate try to break a triple team, every dribble looks sloppy, every defender picks the wrong man to double team watching his man break open when nobody rotates.

It's pathetic. I honestly can't remember the last time I saw any ACC team look so pitiful trying to run an offense. Roy seriously missed bad on this group of recruits. And missing this bad is the kind of thing it can take a couple years to recover from. I don;t care how good next year's class is - if they are surrounded by a bunch of hacks they can only do so much.

I guess some of these guys will be better next year but it's hard to imagine right now.

the suck is contagious, they'll be better next year after a year of practicing and playing together.

that said, I'll take this type of year every year after a National Championship.

yup. This season is a major wash. I'm hoping that by subtracting Deon Thompson and adding in the 3 new guys it fixes everything next year.

 

They might be worse than UNCC for once.
