How long did you have that account? How long ago did you realize the $7 fee? Free checking accounts have been around for a long time now. If you were paying the fee and knew it, then maybe you should of just switched to a free account before now. Would of saved some money. Some banks will tell you ways to save money, others not so much. THAT is why you should always look out for yourself.

Associate (and premier) accounts, or whatever they call them now, typically offer a monthly allowance of fee-free foreign ATM usage. I want to say it's like 3 a month or something.

IF you were paying a fee you were probably earning interest which is a pitance. The non interest earning checking account has no fees unless you do something stupid.

Go here to learn more. Look at the bottom of the page. A least 12 areas of subject titles on fees. This does not count all those others such as statement fee, copies of check fees. Enjoy your bonuses. :37:

MyAccess has no monthly fee. Opt out of returned checks and you have no statement fee. You can get your check images online.

    It's really not complicated.

Hope you never need cash from a check that they put a hold on. I use to love those ten day holds and then I would pay a subcontractor with a check which I wrote just to have them (BA) say they could not cash it because they (sub) had no account with them or the would charge them a fee. By the way money was in my account.

If you are running a business you need to be using a business account.

Why would the person you write a check to cash it at your bank istead of theirs?
