Other teams value him, sure. But to what end? Do they value him $20Mil/year worth? I don't think so.

I'd think the uncapped thing is the best (and probably ONLY) shot at getting someone to trade for julie megabucks. How often do contracts get front loaded now anyway?
Is it even a decent likelihood that an interested team would/could build a special front-loader for julie?

he'd be the biggest free agent to hit since Reggie White, and he didn't just walk either. Regardless of a couple people's issues with him.

Barry? When was he ever available?

since we're apparently talking about post-retirement now, I was talking Reggie heading to GB.

Deion's fair, but I'd still put Reggie over him.

If hayneworth got $12 mill per in actual money, I can see peppers getting $18 per.

He's been more consistent, he's got that freak-show athleticism, he behaves himself, it's an uncapped year, it's another year and top UFA always get more year to year, and I honestly think he's a better player / teammate than Haynesworth.

    I'd tag him.

I got no problem with Peppers...I'd love to keep him. But at what cost does it become a value proposition for the Panthers to keep him? I think we get so caught up in numbers, that we forget the bottom line; How much is his value to this team winning games worth? If he's 20 mil, and we can get 2 players or another player for that 20mil that gives us a better chance to win, we let him go.
