    Remember when Amato was a shiny new coach and NC State fans said they were better because they had more of those 4 and 5 star guys?

    I rmember that. I find it funny that its just another case of the pot calling the kettle black.

    you're comparing Chuck Amato's coaching ability to Davis? It being called a "crap shoot" would make sense if Alabama, Florida, Texas, USC etc were recruiting the 2 and 3* guys too, but they don't, and they seem to be pretty good programs.

    No I'm saying when Chuck the Chest was pulling in 4 and 5 star recruits, NC State said they were superior because of their 4 and 5 stars. Now that they aren't they say 4's and 5's are over rated.

    I understand that, the reason behind the hype of Davis's recruiting classes is that he has the ability and the staff to actually get better results from better recruiting classes than Chuck or Bunting.

    Nice hire in Tenuta. Guys a great defensive coach and that was the weak part of our team last year. Always hated facing his D when he was at UNC-CH and GT.

    Injuries and lack of depth was a big part of that. We'll see if the attitude changes on that side of the ball. Nate's gotta be loving it.
