I'm just worried that George Popadopolis will be more inclined to move the team.

edit: Cats down by 2 @ Lakers, they have traditionally done very well against this team.

I think he could do a lot to market the team if he wanted. Just him showing up at home games and signing a few autographs for fans would probably boost attendence significantly. Some commercials with him in them selling tickets would help too. He still has enormous celebrity appeal. He still does commericals and it has been a long time since he last played. His shot to beat the Jazz was ten years ago.

I disagree. I don't think you can trick people into going to the games or following the team for autographs or with commercials. They simply need to win. and....he's never going to do that, ever

Jordan has been a joke as an NBA executive, he needs to go away.

It is not "cool" to like the Bobcats. Everyone is still pissed about the Hornets and have never warmed up to the Bobcats. Jordan could change that if he put some effort into it. It might even be a good idea to change the team's name. Everyone will want to like Jordan's team. It has not happened so far mostly because he does not seem to care much about their success or failure.

Im all for changing that name. especially if bob sells the team

the Jordan thing, Larry Brown will be gone if MJ is gone. thats the only reason hes here...of course I expect he will leave in a year or two anyway. Still you dont need to parade MJ around like a show pony.

there are plenty of people who like the Bobcats. theres just more people who cant get over the fact that the Hornets left that voice their opinion. get over it.
