Nursing to medicine? any help?

Hey just wondered of any one could help, im applying for nursing but i have been interested in medicine but money and grades have stopped me from doing it. I really would love nursing as a career but would it be possible if at the end of my nursing degree to convert to a medicine course? I know it doesn't show much dedication to the courses but its something i want to consider.

 

I work in a college with a top notch nursing program, and if grades and cost make med school prohibitive, my suggestion would be to commit to the nursing degree and see if you're still interested in medicine after that.

If you do well enough, some doors to med school might open up for you at that time. You can always go back to school, and many of the nursing prerequisites are the same as those for medicine, so it's not like you're wasting time.

If you've got lousy grades you would most likely flunk the basic curriculum/pre-med stuff. e.g. cell biology is a motha.

Maybe you could study pharmacy.
