    In 2003, NCSU also signed Manny Lawson who was a 2 star player and now is a starter at LB for the 49ers. Amazing how few of the top 10 players in NC make it to the NFL.

    I was noticing that also. Would seem as if NC is not very good at producing nfl talent. I would like to see some state by state comparisons.

    damn, I should have got that, I went to school with Terrance.

    With technology it's easier to get a better gauge now on how high school players perform and rank them a little bit better. For instance, Torry would've been ranked higher but being in the middle of no where Gibsonsville and no internets, he had no shot of the publicity he deserved.
