Larry Drew II's performance in the State game at least gives some hope that he might become a serviceable point guard. That's what I keep telling myself anyway.

if Roy has any balls at all he will call Ginyard into his office tomorrow and tell him he has started his last game for UNC. I know the team has a lot more problems than just Ginyard - but WTF? They guy is worthless out on the court. He makes ZERO positive plays.

NIT bound? THe worst part of that scenario is they will almost assuredly get beat by Southwest Missouri State AT HOME in the first round because they'll come in and play with twice the heart as this bunch of pillsbury dough boys do.

I knew this season was going to be an off year with the talent that left but I sure wasn't expecting this level of dropoff. I should have though, I mean, when Larry Drew is your starting PG you know things aren't to work out. And Ginyard, not the same player hew was. The year layoff sure hasn't helped his game any.

I hope UNC gets sent to UNCC for an NIT game and the Tarheels decline the invite.

I expected a little more out of these players. Poor offensive movement, poor passing, terrible free-throw shooting, & mediocre defense are correctable problems. Obviously Roy can't coach this team up at all. Ginyard & Drew are major let-downs, but the others are stinking it up as well.

The Tarheels lack leadership. They are totally rudderless.
