    My Mom has one that's over 60 years old or that's what she told me. I didn't know they were made that long ago. She makes the best roast ever.

    Well, My Grandmother has one from her Great Grandmother and it has to be atleast 500 years old....It's so old you have to use fire to cook with it and it makes the BEST Roasts EVER! It's true! :189:

    Thats because you are too young. The originals were round with a thin crock that didn't lift out. I'd like to find one similar to that. Ebay has some but people are asking too much for a used item like that. By the time you win the auction and pay shipping its about $30 for something 15 years old. And, I don't want one that you can lift off the pot off and it was the little griddle like surface.

    Never mind everyone............I just thought I would ask.

    Hey....you know how it is!!! I also found 2 of the stupid thermal coffee cups my parents love for 49 cents a piece. I've been looking for them too.

    Its tough to keep old folks happy!

    (btw - I got your mom two pairs of the socks with the rubber grippy stuff on the bottom)
