Charlotte defeats no 15 Temple. Looks like Charlotte just may make it to the big dance if they keep this up.....

Yeah - if Charlotte keeps this up they're going to blow their opportunity to whip Carolina in the NIT.

Paging Pi..... paging Pi...... M9H, you too... you there?? lol just kidding guys.

Seriously, we have been a completely different team the last few games. We've relied very little on the three, have been pounding down low to our post players, and have really gotten after it on D.

15 and 5, 5 and 1 in conference (FIRST place!). Bobby has got them playing GREAT ball. We will be dancing if we keep avoiding "bad losses", which we've done all year.

Dag it, Wossa. If Roy can coach them boys up some, I believe UNC can take the 49ers into overtime.

I heard on the radio that the crowd was chanting "OVERRATED" for the last minute of the game, and when the game was over the students stormed the court. WTF?

What can I say, whole nother ball game from last year. Needed players, Ian Anderson getting the minutes he deserves. Need to keep winning, a 49 RPI yesterday at 14-5 is not good. Lutz has nine lives.

We are #37 in the RPI right now according to statsheet.com. I'd say we are still a bubble team, but if we win the games we are supposed to, and get another big win vs X or someone else at the top, we are in.

I agree about Andersen. You're in deep shit if he's playing more than a couple spot min here and there. Our upgrade in talent this year is unreal. Braswell, Spears, and Green are all legit D1 studs, the types we got on a regular basis back in the late 90s and early 00s.

Yeah great, you beat Temple at home. Rushed the floor??? LOL.

Listen Chi, I know you drink the kool aid and all but UNCC is not good and they are going nowhere. The conference sucks and nothing they have done this year is impressive aside from losing by 50 to Duke.

Yeah I do drink the kool aid and view the Niners through my green tinted glasses, but the argument that this team isn't good is getting weaker by the day. We've improved dramatically since that debacle at Duke. In fact we don't even look like the same team. We are 15 and 5 with three top50 rpi wins. No that's not great, and we are still a bubble team for the tourney, but to say this team "is not good" is pretty absurd. Hell even powerbait, one of the most pessimistic Niners fans I know, admits that the Niners are playing great ball now and Bobby is doing a hell of a job coaching.

The conference sucks? We have more top50 rpi teams than the ACC. (It's almost Feb, we can talk RPI now)
It's not the CUSA of the late 90s/early 00s, but it's pretty damn strong this year.
