Meh, that's what Chandler is for. Besides, Diaw and Augustin aren't exactly known for their defense either.

Acquiring Boozer would show that the team is serious about contending, especially if they give him a long term deal. A lot of fans see "Shinn like" cheapness from Bob Johnson.

The question is...who is going to trade for Boozer on his word that he'll sign a long term deal? He's already screwed one owner on an (illegal) handshake agreement.

Who have they went after that has the status of Boozer? They tried to sign sideshow Bob from the Cavs but he is a role player.

I would do it even if I knew Boozer would not resign here. At least you get him for this year where you hopefully make a run deep in the playoffs. You then have some cap space to chase somebody else.

I don't know what blind has to do with it, and like it or not what they wanted Boozer to agree to was illegal in the collective bargaining agreement. Of course, that will be the last time a second round pick gets their contract shortened by ownership.

its not about the status of boozer.hes good...you say they never try to get people. Rasheed Wallace,McDyess,Brandon Bass,Carl Landry are a few. they cant force people to sign.

then owner of the Cavs Gordon Gund is blind. im sorry but thats a dick move. the handshake agreement was illegal, but Boozer was no victim in that deal. Im sure his people helped cook up that idea.
