    If Holtz gets an offer from them, he'll be gone. BCS school in a weaker BCS league (down there with the ACC) with a rich talent pool to recruit from. No way he stays IF they offer.

    The names being mentioned for coach are Tommy Bowden, Al Golden (Temple), and Phil Fulmer. What about Mike Leach, ECU would fit in with his Pirate fixation ?

    mike leach would be great. He turned texas Tech around he could keep ECU rolling. Give Mike a break there is more to the story down in Lubbock

    True. ECU will have to take a lower quality candidate. Butch will be available after the streak extends to 0-4.

    Nobody is real excited about Rick Stockstill around ECU. I hope he's not the one. Why hire a coach that had ties to John Thompson. From what I remember, ECU sucked both offensively & defensively back then. I'd rather have Coach Devine! Butch may not be fired if he loses again to State, but fans aren't gonna be very happy with him, even if does manage another winning season. Another 8-5 season won't get him fired. State fans have to admit that another losing season from TOB (whether he beats UNC or not) will probadly hasten his departure from Raleigh. How many years are State fans going to be patient with the football program losing.
