LOOKING FOR RACHEL WALLACE--Robert B. Parker

Parker writes the most fun novels I've read.

Has anybody read the "Darkness/World at War epic fantasy series by Harry Turtledove? I stumbled upon them and thought they looked interesting, but I'm on the first one and I've never seen such strange names and so many characters right off the bat and I'm only a coule of chapters in and it's not holding my attention too well. Anybody read them? I'm wondering if I'm wasting my time.

My son has a bunch of Turtledove books, but I haven't read them. I assume he likes them because he keeps buying more...

Could you ask him if he liked this series, and let me know? Just ask him if he's read the "World at War" series - there's 5 books. I imagine he has.

Yes, he has and he said he liked them. Actually he said "yeah, that's why I own all of them"[IMG] when I asked if he liked them.

Thank you! I actually started reading again today - pace is picking up. Still, strangest names I've ever seen. It's like he did aksfdkflsfdgnseir on his typewriter whenever he needed another character.
