they do have help. do you mean imagine if we had a power foward and a center that averaged 25 pts a game? they lose one undersized player in Okafor and all of a sudden you act like they lost their entire front line. Mohammad(you said he should start) has been great by his standards. Diaw could score a few more points but hes not Karl Malone or Duncan. Hell even Diop has been servicable. Chandler has been hurt and thats why hes "on the shelf" not "riding the bench" as you say. The Bobcats defense has suffered with him out-cant defend pick and rolls as well.

Mohamed has not done as well as I thought he would. He played well off the bench but not so much as the starter. Chandler stays hurt which is why we should not have traded Okafor for him. Diaw is not doing much. If this team has a legit post player it would be pretty good.

Chandler is averaging more points than DJ Augistine, even in his hurt state.hes played in 25 out of 35 games, hardly always hurt. remember when okafor would stay out of games when he was practicing just fine? how many games did he miss with ankle injuries??lots. why do you think LBrown was frustrated with him , and untimately traded him? plus he has been "riding the bench" during 4th quarters down in NO. Diaw is averaging 9.8 a game and Okafor 10.8 a game. what a huge drop off.

Making the playoffs in the Eastern Conference is like making the honor roll at a special needs school. Even if they pull it off, I don't think it's going to spike much interest among Charlotte fans.

It feels like Diaw is averaging around 5 ppg :( I'd really like to see him around 15 like last year.

He's not been quite as disappointing as DJ this year for me but it's been close. Luckily both have played better the past few games, not coincidentally we won a few games too.

I think we could have something once Chandler gets healthy. Of course this is the same guy who failed a physical/voided trade last year so I don't think anyone is surprised that he's still banged up. I don't think anyone is talking about a chronic injury yet so I'm still giving this some time.

The trade was obviously made for financial reasons as opposed to talent reasons, but most figured Okafor as being overpaid. With Muhammed and Diop already filling roles as overpaid bigs, we had to move the one guy who could get us something in return. If we had a decent ownership situation perhaps Okafor would still be here but that isn't the case. When all is said though, a healthy Chandler probably benefits this team more than a healthy Okafor would. We'll see if he's ever healthy.

Imagine if we had passed on Augustine and selected Brook Lopez :stunned:

That shit has George Shinn written all over it. That is the big reason they get no fan support.

I hate that they've played themselves out of the John Wall Sweepstakes.

Another big comeback tonight by the Cats. Down 13 in the second they rally to beat the Rockets behind Stephen Jackson's career high 43 pts. Diaw had another strong game with 19 pts, 7 boards and 6 assists.

Gerald Henderson hasn't played in a long time.
