love it. Can't really say what my favorite is - usually try different things every time I go. Here in Greensboro we like US Sushi and Bonsai. Bonsai has a really cool sushi chef. Always remembers us when we come in, always gives us something free to try, usually gives us a free desert too.

    now I want sushi

I like US Sushi's bentos. I do Asahi for straight sushi though. Where is Bonsai?

Best Sushi in Charlotte is at the New Zealand Cafe on Sardis Rd. N. at Monroe. It is effing awesome. Whips Nikko's ass and cheaper, too. For the money Sushi 101 is ok. Nikko didn't suck, but it was marginal for a lot of cash. New Zealand Cafe is sensational.

It's over on Bridford Parkway where Sports Authority is. We've eaten at US Sushi in High Point but never the one at Friendly.

As to the raw fish comments - a lot of what you get isn't raw. It may not be cooked much but it's not always raw.

I was one of those that said I would never eat it but I could eat it every day now.

Lenore's daughter loves it and always has. It was a trip watching people gape at a four year old wolfing down a whole plate of sushi and ask for more.

I actually do like the actual raw fish. The wrapped cali rolls are a good start but nigiri is awesome but simple.

But you can very easily get by without it being raw. The crab is steamed and probably not crab, anything you get crunchy or tempura's going to be fried.

So: people who actually eat sushi and don't have a stick up their ass - how do you eat sushi? chopsticks, hands? Are there any assclowns out there who actually eat with a fork?

well, he doesn't eat that, so he can't eat it with a fork, but for completeness, sure. He's an assclown :rockstar:
