I don't think Boise State would beat Alabama. But I also don't think Alabama would blow them out. I do think they should have had BSU and TCU play UC/UF instead of each other.

The BCS Title game was close to being a disaster. If Texas loses that game to Nebraska (1 second away), we would have had Alabama vs. Cincinnati. And we saw how Cincinnati performed against Florida.

As much as I detest Sabin, Alabama was the best team in the country this year. I would have liked to see if Texas could have beaten them with McCoy but that's football. The BCS got lucky this year and had the two best teams. I wish we a had a playoff system like most fans. Alabama is a very young team too, so watch out. The Gilbert kid for Texas started to look pretty good.

Could have been interesting if McCoy hadn't been injured. Still, it was one of the worst championship games I've seen in awhile. Of course most of the bowl games this year weren't all that much fun to watch, with the exception of C. Michigan-Troy. That LeFevour kid from CMU looks like he might make some NFL team very happy someday.

That's why a playoff system could be incorporated with bowls and make them mean something.

think 'Bama would agree to a home-and-home with Boise? Neither do I.

wonder if the Pac 10 will ever expand to get the requisite 12 teams to run a two-division conference. Boise and another team (New Mexico, UNLV, Utah?) could fill those spots. Boise would be among the top three or four teams in that conference right now. Outside of the SEC and Big 12, you could say that about any conference.

boise would probably have to do a 2 for 1 or even just go on the road twice and not get a home game. A move to the pac-10 makes the most sense.

That's assuming the Pac-10 would take them.

Why did they invent bowl games anyway?
