Can the back-up lead them to victory?

Yeah, it sucks UT didn't have McCoy. Not saying UT would have won with him, but who knows? Texas backup QB looks to be decent. He did pretty well considering the situation he was put in. Still scratching my head over that UT call that resultrf in the Alabama TD at the end of the first half. WTF was that?

    Strange Game

First the fake punt that didn't work.
    Then, the onside kick.
    McCoy knocked out.
The shovel pass by Gilbert that was returned for a td right before the half.
I thought Alabama was playing it safe after McCoy was out, thinking the defense would make some plays on the freshman QB, which did happen eventually.
Not the kind of game I was expecting.

It's not a real championship until there's a playoff. Until then,
it's just another made for TV Bowl game.
    Boise's still undefeated.

maybe boise should man up and play someone or move into a bcs conference.

    9/03 No. 16 Oregon 1-0 (0-0) W 19-8
    9/12 Miami (OH) 2-0 (0-0) W 48-0
    9/18 @ Fresno State 3-0 (1-0) W 51-34
    9/26 @ Bowling Green 4-0 (1-0) W 49-14
    10/03 UC Davis 5-0 (1-0) W 34-16
    10/14 @ Tulsa 6-0 (1-0) W 28-21
    10/24 @ Hawaii 7-0 (2-0) W 54-9
    10/31 San Jose State 8-0 (3-0) W 45-7
    11/06 @ Louisiana Tech 9-0 (4-0) W 45-35
