it's going to take more than 3 years to show that kind of progress for championship games and BCS bowl games. I'd rather be looking at Butch Davis's progress than the lack of progress TOB has shown. On that same scale, it seems Davis is a quarterback away from at least contending for an ACC championship, where as NC State not so much

So how much longer are you willing to give both coaches?

it's year by year and seeing some sort of progress. Especially since Davis is at a basketball school and a historically below average program. UNC fans can't expect BCS games in 4 years, but we can expect to watch a competitive team on the field with a +.500 record.

TOB is on his final year (of course by Lee Fowlers standards he should get an extension sometime this month). At the very least the DC should be fired. Injuries or not, that was horrid defensive efforts the 2nd half of the season.

If Yates gets injured, who do you put in?

Davis hasn't done anything to get another QB ready in case Yates gets injured or of course graduates next year?

    Watching Yates was horrid. 14 TD's to 15 INT's.

if you aren't a UNC fan, why would you watch UNC? Yates is the reason not to.

Davis had done something, he just couldn't burn his redshirt; Renner is the reason Paulus transferred, he also will be ready to take Yates's place even before the season if he shows improvement.

He just needs someone to be average to help...

I knew Yates sucked by reading what UNC fans wrote during the year, but I went to ESPN to make sure everybody was right. That's how I found the 14 TD's to 15 INT's.

Do you think Greg Little will jump to the NFL?

Greg Little should consider the NFL. He has the talent and after the injury to Sam Bradford, any Jr. with talent should consider skipping their Sr. year. I'm not saying that because he is a UNC guy, but it's also a financial matter.
