    You know in football we use the phrase..."this quarterback is a product of the system." Well, I'm becoming more and more convinced by the hour that Butch Davis was a product of the system called The University of Miami.

    yep. the best qb has a redshirt, if he can play to his potential he will be better than Yates before spring practice starts. A decent qb wins 2 more games and probably that game yesterday.

    there are some solid pieces there, but I don't think of them as contenders and people didn't think of them as contenders under Brown.
    Now, you can hold the fans accountable for not caring, or checking out now that there's basketball, but the team itself came close to beating a better team in a bowl game. That's not something to cry over.

    and it's only year 3, it's going to take 5-6 years to develop 10 win seasons at a basketball school

    I agree that Butch can get it done but I am not happy about the offensive coaching or the talent. Greg Little might be the only player on offense that can make a play. By the way Marvin Austin is not ready for the NFL.

    Shoop is average at best, he looks worse also because of Yates.

    Austin's been getting bad advice, I hope he decides to work on his endurance.
