Of course we shouldn't have, but they played their best game of the year and we didn't. We had no chance at winning that game the way they were playing.

Heck, I'm just being realistic. They lost to Duke (by 42) & Old Dominion (by 33). Tennessee & Ga. Tech are Top 25 teams right now, and it doesn't look like Charlotte will be able to hang.

Doesn't matter. The Niners should never get beat that bad by a CAA team, I don't care how well that CAA team plays. Would this of happened during the CUSA days? We never lost that bad to really good teams, let alone the ODUs of the world this many times in a season. Yes, I know ODU is pretty good, but still. Damn. I hope it's just youth but Lutz really needs to settle on a consistant rotation soon.

People said the same against UL. Yes, I know UL wasn't at full strenght, but neither were the Niners. This team is Jekle/Hyde right now. No telling who will turn up against UT/GT. Right now though, I tend to agree with you.

    Whatever.

Yes, it would have happened during CUSA days. ODU is pretty good, they were playing fantastic and we're a team that is still trying to find its identity. People overhyped us, but I think it was a fluke game. There was nothing we could have done in that game to win.

They really need to show up against Xavier, Temple, Rhode Island, Dayton, & GW. Considering the Atlantic Ten might not get more than 2-3 bids into the big show they need to finish towards the top. The 2 bad losses are going to hurt them come Selection Sunday time.

A-10 should get at least 3, most likely 4 bids into the tournament. But, I don't expect you to know that since you don't actually know much about sports.

We were picked to finish 7th in the A-10, and I don't think that prediction was way off base.

:rotflmao: Since you're such an expert, I assume you know that losing by 42 to Duke, and 33 to Old Dominion and being picked 7th in THIS conference that Charlotte's not going anywhere (but the NIT , maybe), no matter how many bids the A-10 gets come tourney time.

Did I say they were? After an 11 win season, I would be glad to get to the NIT. Sure, I'd love to be an NCAA tournament team, but I don't expect it.

But the A-10 is 4th in the RPI right now and has 4 top 40 teams. Were it not for Fordham, the conference might even be top 3, they are quite a boat anchor. So to say that it is a 2 bid league is retarded.

But hey, you do a great job of posting schedules and results. Keep up the good work!

    Schedules & Results:

Don't shoot the messenger! This whole thread is about Charlotte's schedule & results. As far as the Atlantic Ten goes, I sure don't think that it's a Top 6 conference in basketball. ACC, Big East, SEC, Big Ten, Big 12, & Pac 10 are all surely ahead of the Atlantic 10 in basketball. The Atlantic 10 is a competitive b-ball conference amongst its members, but not very strong in comparsion to the big 6 (BCS guys).
