Samsung and LG are best TVs overall, but to be honest at less than 30 inches, just get what's cheapest. You're gonna be limited because of picture size anyways. I'm not saying its bad picture, but you can only see SO much on a smaller TV.

And for a bedroom or something that's fine, but I wouldn't look for the "best". Just go to the store look at the one that looks best to you and is the most cost effective and buy that one.

i had a samsung, took it back and got the sony... sony is better.... my neighbor has the samsung 52" 120hz, even he says my sony bravia 52" 60hz is nicer

granted, he has Time Warner HD, I have DirecTV HD

I'm an open box kind of guy though, so i'd say go with whatever bestbuy or hhgregg has preowned if you want a good deal

I've got the A850 model. I'm staying away from plasma.

plasma has a better picture, lower price, screen glare, screen burn in, lower life expectancy, and produces more heat and uses more power

Most major sports are shot on Sony HD cameras. So, if sports are shot on a Sony, shouldn't you watch 'em on one?
