    I think people hate Notre Dame becuase sports radio has conditioned them to do so. It's like a gimmick they pull out to rile up the callers. It's pretty funny but it works..

    Mark Packer has realized this. You can tell he's hating on Notre Dame just to rile up some listeners, but they can't stop themselves from calling.

    I think that's the biggest roadblock for them to being the power they once were. The do redshirt players now and that helps but let's face it, a lot of the elite players they need to compete with Florida, Texas, So Cal can't get in Notre Dame.

    Losing to the teams you named isn't the problem. Notre Dame shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence with those schools.
