A&E strikes again with reality shows that are just too real.

Last episode I watched- the people were so nasty, they had 40 some cats living in their house (the lady thought she had 15), and they found another 30 some dead. Solid stiff kitties were being found under boxes and stuff.

I sat with my finger on the remote to turn off such reality bull as this, yet watched every single second. There's a new one tonight!!!
    :hypocrite:

    ahem

it is a hard show to turn off - you jast have to see what they find next. This one lady had a fridge full of rotten food. She was picking things out of the meat tray to keep because it wasn't "that bad" yet? Then they found like an inch of dark sludge in the bottom that stuff was swimming in...:barf:

    Bump for new season.

Last night had a 68 year old woman in a house with no gas or water for 8 years and a bunch more dead cats.

    What. The. Fuck.

My buddy doc lives sorta like this. No cats though but that's because he hates cats. They should do a reality show on him. He has no running water cause the pipes leak, so he's got to turn it on in the basement to get water then turn it off. He really has no heat, the furnace has been on it's last leg for the past 5 years, so he only turns it on very very sparingly but he swears his sleeping bag keeps him toasty warm. yeah right! He's the most stubborn man i've ever met cause he won't let you help him. His house is so full of trash, he only has paths to is chair and bathroom and kitchen. He can't flush his toilet cause of the water thing so he just pisses outside and buys lime to throw over it when it smells in the summer time. He only has one eye that works on his stove. We bought him an electric skillet to use but he lost it in all his clutter. His fridge will make u puke if you dare open it...so i don't. He has "critters" that come in and out of his house.
We've offered several times to help him clean it up but he thinks he has nothing to throw away. I've found him a fridge someone was giving away but he doesn't want to throw out the fridge his parents had. Anyways, you'd have to see it to fully appreciate what i'm telling ya.
Maybe i should contact that show and the could put him on.

he never took it out of the box. He had no heat one winter (which he rarely does) and we had a kerosene heater he could use but we were afraid with all his stuff he'd catch the house on fire.

It's pretty much the same show over and over with sick twists and I feel ill when I watch it (but I buckle right down and do it ). A couple of months ago, I saw one where they had taken up to 70 cats out of a ladies house. 35 or so were dead and looked just like that stiffy last night. They had to pry them off the concrete in the garage. It sounded like ripping packing tape off a package.

Amazing to me how anyone can let it get that bad.

edit: Ok so I started this thread with that episode. Duh...

watching a show on TLC called Hoarding : Buried Alive. There is this guy that looks fairly normal, has a pretty girl friend who finally saw his house for the first time. The shit was piled so high her head was touching the ceiling as she tried to walk across it. Crazy stuff
