Could Maryland? Now, don't get me wrong, CLT got pounded, but it's not like CLT is the first team to go into CI and get smashed. Same thing happened to Maryland last year and then UM went out and beat Chapel Hill. It's just one game.

 

Georgia Tech. just lost to Dayton.

UNC was ranked too high to begin with. The talent is there, but the execution is not. Too many turnovers so far. Syracuse looked like a Top 10 team to me, & UNC is not, at this time. The Tar Heels will be fine. Roy has a tough December schedule lined up, so the Tar Heels can work thru their problems. Right now, I'm not sold on UNC being able to win the ACC regular-season, but I believe Duke will have some problems also in the conference. Because of their depth, any foul trouble or injury problem will sink the Blue Devils in close conference games, especially on the road. A third team, Clemson possibly, may move past both of them this year.

 

how can you say duke isn't deep ? i know they're not at guard. but they still have nolan, scheyer, and singler is a guard too now. they have dawkins coming off the bench. and if they had to they could just play a huge lineup and play ryan kelly at sf. hes more of an outside guy anyway. or lance thomas can guard a wing player. duke still relies on the 3 ball a lot, but when we're missing this year, we can rebound and put it back in. unlike last year where it was one and done.

 

What has duke done? Crush Charlotte? shit anyone can beat Charlotte these days.
