    Fabulous appetizer. Will disappear fast!

    2 cans whole water chestnuts
    1 pound bacon
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup bottled chili sauce
    1/4 cup mayonnaise

Drain water chestnuts. Cut bacon strips in half. (or thirds if it is really long bacon) Wrap a piece of bacon tightly around each water chestnut and place in baking dish. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until bacon is cooked. Remove dish from oven and drain as much grease out of the dish as possible. Combine the brown sugar, chili sauce, and mayonnaise and pour over the water chestnuts. Return to over and bake at 350 degrees for additional 15-20 minutes or until bubbly.

cream cheese and spicy sausage stuffed mushroom caps are still fucking good

FYI: If you take the fat and little pieces of pork left over from a pig roast (or pig pickin', if you prefer) and mix them up in a blender with ice and vodka, it's pretty damed good
