What sucks is that Carolina really ought to be 7-1 right now. Winning this one after losing to Virginia and choking against Fla St is kind of a dubious honor. Instead of helping them get one step closer to the BCS, it gets them one step closer to the Tire Bowl again.

 

yeah. 5-3 is okay but I would really like to have that second half of the FSU game back and all four quarters of the UVA game. Those both should have been wins. FSU because they had the game in the bag and UVA because I don't care if UVA is better than first thought UNC still should have won that game.

 

same as last year, the losses are tough and a couple plays away from being a win. last night's game was a huge direction from a growing aspect of Davis and the team.

It's also good for recruiting, kids can see the growth and the team getting better and can see themselves as a piece to make the team even better for the next few years.

 

This was a win that could really turn this program around. Heck, UNC can still win 9 games this year.

 

I wouldn't jump to that conclusion.

containing Duke's offense and their qb is going to be as hard if not harder than VT's.

Miami is Miami - athletic and fast, they shut down a GT offense that UNC had all sorts of problems with.

@ BC, that's a 50/50

@ Carter Friendly Stadium. NC State has owned UNC no question - depending on where NC State stands here, they may need the win for a bowl game, or more motivation would be NC State to beat UNC to knock them out of a bowl game. Now there is video on containing RW, and after facing Taylor and Lewis UNC should be prepared for a qb that has legs
