Panthers vs Bucs Running GameDay Commentary 10/18/09

Can anyone explain why was Dante Wesley was thrown out of the game.I though that on a punt if a player does not wave for a fair catch that you can hit the player.And that what Dante Wesley .Also looking at the replay it did not look like it was a helmets to helmets hit.What that in minde why did the refs throwen Dante Wesley out of the game.Why was there no flag for Fighting after the play??

 

It was a cheap shot that going to cost Dante a big Fine

 

I thnk you still have to give the receiver room to make the catch. He hit him well before the ball got there.

 

I won't complain if they hand wesley his papers, its not like special teams is worth a damn.

That was one of the worst cheap shots I've seen. He should be suspended a game and fined a ton of cash for hitting a defenseless player like that. You don't even see HS guys make that dumb of a play. It disrespects the players and the game, which you just don't do.

What I don't get is what was he so vociferously defending after the play? Does he not believe he did anything wrong? I want to hear his side of this so I can truly understand how dumb he is. Cue Solarte and his magic camera and microphone.
