    Yep. Fans overreact everywhere, but it's particularly funny how so many State fans want TOBY canned after all the bragging about how he's so much better than Butch Davis.

    For the record, I think it's pretty ridiculous to want either one of them fired when they're only halfway through their third season. It does take a minute or two to build a college program back up from basically nothing when you're not at Alabama or Miami, where the recruiting is a breeze.

    it's going to take 5 years at an average school, 7 years at a basketball school. IMO

    Both programs have good coaches, its just taking a little more time and some fans can't wait for long term results.

    Davis & O'Brien are not in danger of being fired, but winning in the ACC is not going to be easy in the future. All 12 schools are trying to up their game. O'Brien hasn't beat his former school yet, & UNC continues to struggle against the Virginia Cavaliers. No easy games in the conference! Florida State no longer dominates as they did for years, & you're only as good as your last game:For example, Virginia Tech losing to Ga. Tech.
