Why do any of you have a reason to hate Boise State? Are you Oklahoma or Oregon fans?

I was stating that Conference USA is a very weak conference. Tulsa, a 45-0 loser to Oklahoma could quite possibly play for the Con-USA Title. Most of the teams in this conference are being pounded in match-ups with BCS teams from other conferences:
    Tulsa 0 Oklahoma 45
    ECU 17 UNC 31
    Marshall 10 Va. Tech 52
    UAB 19 Texas A & M 56
    SMU 14 TCU 39
    UTEP 7 Texas 64

    #23 Houston lost to UTEP!

    Your Right Karl

Hey Karl u are exactly right. My comments about UGA are done with. I still root for them but last 2 times we have went to TN we have played our worst game of year. 2 yrs ago we may have played for SEC championship against LSU had we not lost at neyland becuz we beat Fla. and UT got beat by LSU. Many people I remember said that if UGA played LSU the way the dawgs were playing then we may have beaten LSU and played for Nat'l title. But we went and handed Hawaii's tail to them

Why didn't UT play like that against Florida?

    COME ON TULSA... BEAT BOISE!!!!!

I'm just pulling for the underdog in this game. I'm hoping there's no undefeated teams at the end of the season, which will really confuse the BCS rankings.

It looks like your Bulldogs & my Tar Heels may not see the Top 25 again this season. Carolina let me down with the poor showing against Virginia. That's one they should have won at home. The season's only half over, but the cream is rising to the top in the rankings, & the Heels are still not there yet. Bulldogs are just in a tough conference. National Champion should come from the SEC unless they knock each other out of the running.

Yes, but Boise State losing does nothing to confuse the BCS rankings, it kicks them out entirely. You need them to go undefeated. BCS elite teams losing changes things, BS has to go undefeated or they are completely out of it.

so who gets a BCS bowl game if both Boise and TCU win out? TCU has BYU and Utah left on its schedule and has beaten two ACC teams. Boise has beaten Oregon and all that's left on its sked is shit.

BTW. Boise has Oregon State and VaTech on its schedule next year (OSU at home; VaTech "neutral", if you consider Landover, MD neutral for a team traveling from Idaho). If they go unbeaten it'd be difficult to eliminate them from discussion for BCS championship.
