Are the Yankees gonna win the Series ?

The Yankees have been the class of baseball this summer without doubt. They pound the ball, play good defense, and their pitching is good. I just don't think they are going to win the World Series. I picked Boston and the Phillies to play in the Fall Classic before the season started so I'll stay with that. Biggest surprise has to be Colorado and the biggest disappointment is the Cubs.

 

Yankees Are The Favorite, but-----

Boston is playing well & can match the Yanks, head-to-head.

I'm favoring the Cards to win the National League, but they'll have to get by the Phils. If I had to guess , I'd say the World Series will be:

Yankees vs. Cardinals

 

Amazing what spending close to half a billion dollars can do.

 

Well the spending $ sure didn't help in the past. Seems to me the type of player they brought in was more key. Free willed spirits and fun guys such as CC, Swish, Tex, & AJ have been great to see in the dugout this year. Years past, the team would spread out along the bench and hardly talk to one another. This year they mingle and talk and joke around alot more.

Alot easier to play great ball together when you actually enjoy the people you are playing with.

 

I just hope they crash and burn. Nothing better than seeing the Yankees lose. Fuck 'em..
