Im a UGA fan. Have been for few years. I never really had a favorite college team but UGA always intrigued me. After watching "Facing the Giants" I decided to root for Coach Richt and the dogs consistently.

Game Saturday @ 330 Btween the Hedges vs #4 LSU..

Whats the outlook for this? Miss. St gave LSU a tough game last weekend. UGA pulled one out against ASU after being ahead most of the game. Most broadcasters I've heard on ESPN say that LSU is #4 because there's nobody else to put there. Are the Bayous legit #4 or should they be ranked lower?

Anybody predicting UGA to win this game? What's keys to the game you think? Besides the obvious turnovers and things. I'm meaning Key Matchups like Cox vs LSU D and things like that.

I don't think LSU right now is as good as their ranking. Lot of talent (as usual) but not playing up to their potential. I don't honestly know who will win. Georgia's defense hasn't been that impressive so far.

LSU is a good candidate to be the next casualty in the top 10. Like Mississippi last week, I don't believe they are a top 5 team. I think Georgia will win this game, something like 34-24.

    As a fan..

I have noticed that Georgia's offense is capable of moving the ball against pretty much anyone. Their biggest enemy is themselves and turning it over.

Georgia's defense isn't very aweing and impressive at a glance, but it seems that they step up when they need to. Case and point, South Carolina. They blocked a PAT and managed to defend the last pass that would have gave SC the win in Athens.

I feel alot better about Georgia's chances since the game takes place in Athens. Last year we defeated LSU 52-38 @ LSU. Either way should be a great game. I talked to an LSU fan today at Alltel and we both seemed kinda iffy on it. Looks like not only will the nation find out alot bout whether LSU deserves their ranking, but maybe will find out just how good or vulnerable the dawgs are.

    No Bama..

I guess least we don't have to worry about playing Bama this year. Unless we pull off and beat UF on Halloween and make it to the SEC Championship.

Be alot more fun if Moreno and Stafford will still here haha

Wow, crazy 2 minute finish. Can't score in the first 58 minutes, and then they light up the scoreboard.

    Great game.

I hate that my dawgs lost the game today but I tip my hat to both teams. There were times that both teams had to step up and face adversity. Deserving of their ranking or not, LSU finds ways to win football games.

Officials are ludacris. It's sad to say that after that great finish when the score was 7-6 with 2 min left that fans of both teams will have a memory of the officials insane calls at the end of the game. Wasn't it Washington or somebody last year that their QB scrambled at the end and won the game. He jumped up off the ground and the ball went in the air and he was looking for his teammates and they called this on him as well that cost them chance of going for 2?

Shouldn't make that call unless they go after the other team and look to put them down or they make the gestures such as slashing of throat.

TD's weren't only ones.. Remember the one earlier in the game to charles the TE for UGA he got up and kinda made the motion like he was stirring or agging the fans on and getting them into it. Officials are too sensitive. I'd like to know how many of them actually played the sport they officiate whether its baseball, football, hockey, basketball, etc.

To end this post though.. Great Job LSU on remaining undefeated. Great job UGA on playing and competing and almost pulling it off. Alot of other teams would've gotten frustrated when offense couldn't do anything. UGA is still just 2-1 in SEC..

a great finish to that ball game and yes the refs tried their best to ruin it. Yeah I know they called it both ways. But only because they had too for the throwing the first flag against UGA.

I really despise the celebration penalty. It is so damn subjective. Based on the times I've seen the flag thrown this year they could pretty much call a penalty after every fucking TD.

It's time to get rid of the damn thing. Sucks all the fun out of the game and all the excitement out of a big score. I always hated the over the top celebrations. TO and Joe Horn, the scripted dances and all that crap. But I wold rather have all that back than these stupid zebras throwing flags all the time.
