    South Carolina has a shot in this one. I was impressed with the quickness their defense showed against N.C. State. Pressuring the QB will be important in this game. Garcia is improving & if he can out-duel Jevan Snead, I think the Gamecocks win this game. I'm not ready to say that Ole Miss is a Top 5 team yet, either. Too many good teams in the SEC for the Rebels to navigate.

    I'm not a South Carolina fan but I think that the Cocks are going to win.

    Just wondering--

    I'm not a Gamecocks fan either, but are South Carolina fans restless for more success. Since Spurrier has arrived the Gamecocks seem to be stuck in 6 or 7 win seasons. Spurrier even seems subdued during games. He's taken them to the Outback, Liberty, and Independence bowls so far. Not the success most were thinking was gonna happen. South Carolina needs some big conference wins this year!

    South Carolina has a hell of a secondary and I think all their defense lineman are back from suspensions this week. Ole Miss should have a hard time scoring.

    I think Spurrier has realized that it doesn't matter who is coaching there-its still South Carolina. 10+ win seasons will be few and far between.
