    1. Tigers 69-60
    2. Twins 65-65 (4.5 back)

    Twins have a very easy schedule the final month:
    White Sox 6 games left
    Cleveland 6 left
    Toronto 4 left
    Oakland 3 left
    Kansas City 6 left

    All have losing records!
    Plus: 7 head-to-head games left with Detroit!

    Worst Division in baseball this year. I thought the White Sox would win it before the season started but they are not very good.

    Tigers haven't been beat in September!
    6-0 start to the month has put this race away!

    Can the Tigers make any noise in the playoffs?

    Minnesota only 2 games back again. The Twins start a 4-game series with Detroit Monday.
