You are welcome. A shape is only a shape. It holds no meaning unless a human gives it one and not every human associates the same meanings with the same shapes. A star is just a star to me. Here are a few articles to help you better understand just what a pentagram is to different people.

You may be surprised that it is in fact not an evil symbol at all.

    This is funny.
"Goat and Ram Heads are Sacred in Witchcraft and Satanism
Clearly, Satan is the spiritual power behind ALL rock music, including so-called "Christian rock.
Masons admit readily that Baphomet is a pagan fertility god and, more importantly, that Freemasonry is a fertility cult religion. At any rate, this mockery of Jesus is a satanic symbol and figures prominently in Satan worship."

The article you posted holds some amount of truth to it but just like everything else it is a biased out look at something that you never bothered to take a closer look at but rather heard or was taught that it was evil and just ran with it.
I find the article funny because "Christians" at one point in time used the pentagram as a symbol themselves.

"The Pentagram As A Christian Symbol Up until medieval times, the five points of the pentagram represented the five wounds of Christ on the Cross. It was a symbol of Christ the Saviour. This is in stark contrast to today where the pentagram is criticized by modern Fundamentalist Christians, as being a symbol of evil.
The church eventually chose the cross as a more significant symbol for Christianity, and the use of the pentagram as a Christian symbol gradually ceased."

" * Medieval Christians attributed the pentagram to the Five Wounds of
    Christ.

    * The Christian Emperor Constantine I used the pentagram, together
with the chi-rho symbol in his seal and amulet."
Like you say about the bible I am going to say about the world. Make sure you have all the facts and that they can be backed up before you run your mouth.

Some more interesting facts that interlock the "Christians" and Pagans is that most sacred holidays held by people of "God" actually are taken and revised from old pagan rituals and sacred times.

Ex.... "No such festival as Christmas was ever heard of until the THIRD century, and not until the FOURTH century was far advanced did it gain much observance.

"Long before the fourth century, and long before the Christian era itself, a festival was celebrated among the HEATHEN, at that precise time of the year, in honor oft the birth of the son of the Babylonian queen of heaven; and it may fairly be presumed that, in order to conciliate the heathen, and to swell the number of the nominal adherents of Christianity, the same festival was adopted by the Roman Church, giving it only the name of Christ. This tendency on the part of Christians to meet Paganism half-way was very early developed."

    "
Easter is not a Christian name. It is Chaldean (Babylonian) in origin - the name Astarte, one of the titles of Beltis, the queen of heaven. The name Astarte, as found on the Assyrian monuments by the noted archeologist Layard, was the name Ishtar. The worship of Bel and Astarte was introduced very early into Britain, along with the Druids, "the priests of the groves," the high places where the pagans worshipped the idols of Baal. In the Almanac of the 1800's, May 1st is called Beltane, from the pagan god, Bel. The titles Bel and Molech both belong to the same god."

Those are just two of the more popular Christian holidays. To find more follow the links.

genesis your statement...."A star is just a star to me" seems you may be a little naive in which Edwar Elric stated: "Nope. I'm agnostic."

This seems to be a little more than a star....

I just thought that both of you only had a light colored crayon and black paper. But since you both have explained yourselves to the religious hardlines. Guess you can offer your chickens to the gods:FO2DIFatWoman03HL:

Hahaha o_O Really? RRREEEAAALLLYYY? Here is another good example of you running your mouth about something that you have no clue about. Did you only read far enough to extract a bit of information that you needed to try and disprove my statement? First off the symbol I have as an icon on here has no bearing on the fact that I believe a star is just a star. Nothing has meaning unless you give it one. Second off if you knew anything about the show or the manga you would know the circumstances behind why Ed made a statement along them lines and you would also know that he does not truly feel that way. Here... I do believe that his voice actor Vic Mignogna said it best. So here is him explaining things about Ed better then I ever could.

So yep a star is still just a star to me :)

These two videos contain the lines that Vic is talking about.
Video 1 the lines start at about 3:50 and end at 5:33

Video two the lines start around 4:17 and end at 5:05
