So far in this thread I have asked you twice for some kind of evidence that what you rant about it true, and all you do is ignore the question and tell me that because I don't believe what you believe I have to grow up.

I don't believe the bible is anything more than stories .

Now instead of being a pompous prick, do you care to offer any evidence that the whole complete bible is the truth?

 

Not to put him down or anything but I have noticed that he has selective reading. It is just like selective hearing. I do not think he even realizes that he is doing it. Or if he does he is choosing to ignore it hoping that others will not take notice of it. It is how you can tell that his point has run out of steam and that he will be attacking or criticizing or maybe trying to help something or someone else real soon.

 

I think he reads everything then cherry picks what he responds to.

 

Just for clarification's sake, I stand by what I wrote here, but only because I'm defining "stories" as first hand accounts. Some are fables, some are parables, some are testimonies of literal events. I've done enough research over the last 12 years to convince me of the integrity of the Bible's authors. After the first few years of futile attempts of trying to disprove and debunk the content of the Bible, I switched gears and focused on trying to understand its purpose and message -- not just for me, but for anyone who wants my help.
