The Braves chance to put some heat on the Phillies is this weekend. They need a sweep to get back in the division and need 2 of 3 to stay close in the wild card.

Two straight over the Fish and Tim Hudson looked great. Omar Infante is one the best all around players in MLB. He has made the Braves a lot better with his return from the DL.

4 losses in a row and a swept by the Reds, the Braves are done.

Can't wait to see that center fielder they have in AA though, he's going to be like Kemp I hear

I'm very disappointed in the Braves. I think they should have had a better season based on their pitching. The team must get better at the plate in the off season. Chipper has been in a horrible slump since August and you have to wonder how much he has left. Prado is a future star along with Escobar. Diaz is most likely not an everyday player at the corner outfield spots, he just does not have enough power but he is a great bat off the bench. McLouth is a good player in center and will be fine. Anderson has seen his better days. All in all they must get better in left and right IMO. LaRoach is hitting like crazy since coming back to Atlanta so he will be the starter next year at 1st base.

Bad coaching move last night to take Hanson out. He was unhittable and only had 3 outs to get. Why Bobby, why?

It's the habit of major league managers and pitching coaches to over protect young arms. I agree that Hanson should have gone out for the 9th inning but I knew he was going to get pulled. The complete game is a thing of the past and it's a shame. Hanson was barely over 100 pitches after 8 innings.

Let me correct that, Hanson was only at 98 pitches after 8 innings.
