Thanks to South Carolina's defense! Plus, a fumble recovery led to the Gamecock's only touchdown!

South Carolina's Defense is looking very good as well as their rushing game. My favorite college team is UGA and we gave that game to Ok. St. last week. They scored 17 points off our turnovers. They were only able to have one drive where we didnt give them the ball inside our own 40 and that was the great pass from Robinson to Bryant that tied the game up. I'm anxious to see both teams play again. 7 pm this Saturday. USC vs UGA

It will be interesting to see what kind of improvement South Carolina's offense will make in a week's time. Also, the Gamecock's defense could do the same thing with Ga. Force turnovers that lead to scores.

Gamecocks are not going to make much improvement on offense as long as they don't have a division 1 quarterback.

I agree with you. The quarterback is a problem. I'm sure they'll be a little improvement, but South Carolina's defense will have to have another good game for the Gamecocks to have any chance of winning this game.

This game could come down to which QB improves more: Georgia's Joe Cox (Charlotte Independence) had a 63.5 QB rating last week vs. Garcia's 60.4 QB rating. Neither one very good. For comparsion's sake Greg Paulus had a QB rating of 110.7. for Syracuse.

    UGA rushing

UGA was able to run the ball fairly well just as was made mention during the game Saturday. They said if you were to tell Coach Richt the running game would work very well and you would be able to hold Dez Bryant to just one TD and 3 catches, I'm sure he'd take that. Thats exactly what they got but the costly things were: Before halftime after OSU tied at 7, RB got hit directly on ball fumbled and defense held at goal line to force a fg and in a minutes time went from up 7 to down 10-7 at halftime, the special teams allowing Ok to return opening kickoff in 2nd half to deep in UGA territory and they scored a TD off of that, and then later on in the game the INT Cox threw that led to another short field and TD that resulted in final score at 24-10.. Football is an interesting game. It always comes back to turnovers, blocking, tackling, and fundamentals.
