I about turned it off and vowed never to watch again when Jason was pretending to be the god ..... but I guess it's supposed to be cheesey

Haven't watched it this season. Has it already jumped the shark?

I thought that was hilarious. I don't see how anyone can watch this show and take it seriously. I think it is very tongue in cheek the whole time. The characters overact, the writing is over the top and the show always pokes fun at itself. Yes, there are moments when they go for serious (like Godric on the rooftop), but generally I think they are more about fun than about being a serious drama.

I guess I just look for some level of reason within the framework they are working with.

    I still watch though.

I think Jason is the best character on the show. When he stormed the church to save Sookie, that was hysterical. "I found heaven...it was inside your wife."

    Great shit there.

Oh man, that was the best part of the episode. You should watch that on demand.

I have to admit that the last episode was the cheesiest one to date but I was laughing pretty hard.

One of the best lines was when Jason said "that sounds fucking fucked up."

    Welcome, NC
The one Sunday night was awful. I expected the Vampire queen to be some elegant older woman full of wisdom, not a 22 year old looking nymphomaniac who liked playing Yahtzee. Plus I'm getting tired of the whole Mary Ann thing and watching old fat people run around half naked. Next week is the season finale. I'll probably watch the 1st couple episodes next season, if it gets any cornier I'll probably give it up. Too bad, it had great potential, but obviously now they're just throwing stuff out there.
