didn't take long for 1 recruit to make up his mind after tonights game

"I was getting tired of the recruiting process and was ready to be a Tar Heel," Wilkins said.

Wilkins, a 5-foot-9, 165-pound wide receiver, selected UNC over scholarship offers from Clemson, Colorado, East Carolina, Louisville, Marshall, and NC State.

In Crest’s spread offense, Wilkins stars at quarterback. As a junior, he rushed for 994 yards and 15 touchdowns on 163 rushes. He also completed 60-of-139 passes for 914 yards and five touchdowns, with two interceptions.

The game at Uconn is big for Carolina. It's not a game they should lose with the talent they have but it's a game that Uconn has pointed to in large way since they got hammered last year in Chapel Hill.

Yep, I'm not taking Uconn lightly at all. They were actually better than us in most of the stats last year, but ST's problems and turnovers killed them. I don't expect Carolina to benefit from blocked punts in this one. This game should be a pretty good test for Carolina's defense. They looked great against the Citadel, but that really doesn't mean a whole lot to me.
