I got my Today and just finished installing it.~!
Was very easy to do, and with security higher and maybe as high as Vista, and maybe even as high as Windows 7 it is a good upgrade to do IMO.

I upgraded. Upgrade went fine, but not really seeing any differences, except the new icon preview mode, which is neat, I suppose. I think the big differences must be "under the covers".

i'm a big fan of os x from the philosophical standpoint -- it's pretty much a unix box. but man, apple has really fallen down on the whole "it just works" mantra. my mac actually has more little annoyances than my pc does. (of course, i'm running xp still cuz vista looked like a fucking train wreck to me)

i'm not sure if upgrading will solve them or cause new problems ontop of the old ones.

Do you have a bunch of odd stuff running on your mac? I bought my MBP about 2 months back, love it more than any computer I've ever owned.

I bet if you had looked at the amount of free space before and after you installed Snow Leopard, you then would have noticed a GAIN of 20 Gigs of Free space and maybe even as much as 30 Gig on the HD.~! I noticed a gain of around 25 and I have, and many others have reported as much as 33 gig of free space added to the HD.
