LOL, but you still suck at football, don't you? Just like all the players TOBY got rid of.

The point is that TOB got rid of them for even minor stuff (stuff that wasn't law breaking but did break a TOB rule) while the Chief waits till they do something really bad which beating a teammate isn't apparently (though we could argue that some of his teammates are feminine enough that they should fall under the beating a woman exception unless they have the exemption that they were just smoking a little weed which nullifies the woman exception and allows them to be banned from study hall).

On my visit during my senior year of high school I remember asking Butch. I said "If you had to compare your program to a movie, which one would it be" and his response was "Blue Chips." He said he does whatever you have to do to get players.

Hmmm...Have you ever wondered why TOBY would get rid of one player for a minor violation that didn't even involve the police, while bringing in another player who was kicked out of another major program for a very major violation that he was arrested for? Does that really make perfect sense to you? Do you really and truly believe that talent had nothing to do with these decisions, and that prep school has transformed that kid into a totally different person with no propensity for violence? If so, you're just proving my suspicion that State fans have no ability to reason when it comes to this debate.

Already said I don't agree with Singer unless something further comes out about it. I really do believe a guy who got kicked out of Georgia (who was previously a good kid) may realize the mistake he made after having to attend a Military school. I'd rather give that guy a chance than continue to keep a kid who beats up his own teammates over a video game (supposedly). But, I'll give Chief credit: Commit statutory rape or beat a woman and YOU ARE OUT!!!

You do understand that teammates have been fighting since the very first football team ever took the field, right? I guarantee you that there have been fights between NC State teammates that you never even knew about. That's not that big of a deal, and it shouldn't shock anybody to learn that there are students, most of which are not satin worshipers or serial killers BTW, at just about every public university in the country (including NC State students and football players), that have smoked a little weed before.

The fact is, you're making mountains out of molehills when it comes to Tar Heel players and coaches, and excusing State players and coaches. I'm not even saying that's neccessarily a bad thing, but damn, just own up to it.

I promise you that talent is just as much a part of the equation when TOBY gets rid of a player for a "minor rules violation" or takes a chance on a player with a violent past, as it is when Butch Davis makes those same types of decisions, so don't try to pretend it isn't.

So Monsterkitten, are you saying a kid who was protecting his girl, would be dead if not saved by the guy driving by and also had to deal with his mom being murdered is the same as a kid punching his friend in the face over a video game?
